Thanksgiving

2011 Thanksgiving was awesome!! We went to our grandma's house and ate tons of food and had a lot of fun. We played football first. The team's were me, Reed, Destry, Jon, and Jason vs. Dad, Mark, Ryan, Dylan, and Anna. Our team won by two touchdowns. Uncle Jon had a highlight Pick 6 towards the end of the game, sealing our victory. We also played bocce ball. Their were 4 teams: Biz and Dar, Me and Reed, Jason and John, and Dad and Anna. Reed and I came back from being in last place and won! After that, we went back to the house and watched the Cowboys vs. Dolphins football game. It was a great game, but unfortunately, the Cowboys won 20 to 19. That's pretty much how our Thanksgiving went down, how did yours go?

Thanksgiving Party

Yesterday, we all went to a thanksgiving party at our grandma's church. It was really fun. The food was great, and we played a lot of games. We can't wait until the real thanksgiving!

Quarter 1 grades

As we come to a close of Quarter 1 of 8th Grade, here are the stats.
Reed: 4.0 GPA, Straight A's, 4.0 CPA, so in other words, the best you can get. (That's 5 in a row for Reed)

John: 3.958 GPA, Straight A's, 1 A-, 4.0 CPA, he missed perfect by 1%.
Let's give the K-Town Twins a hand for these grades, shall we?

Sleeping in the Backyard

Well, last night we decided to sleep in the backyard. John, Hyrum, and I pitched the tent and slept there with the tv and movies. You might call us crazy, but where would anyone get without a little crazy in there lives? Anyway, it was a blast and we stayed really warm.

Fall Break

This week, we have fall break. We have Thursday and Friday off, and it is going to be a blast. This year has gone by so fast. Basketball tryouts are next Monday. We are going to try out, and I sure hope we make the team.

Book Report

Well, we have a huge book report for English class due this Wednesday. Luckily for us, our teacher is letting us complete it together. There are three sections, we have done sections 2 and 3, which are the hardest. We really want to show our teacher that we are top notch students. We are really close to finishing, and I'm glad. Well, that's about it for today.

At the Farm

Yesterday, we went to Jake's grandpa's farm. It was so fun. We drove golf carts, played golf, and we just had a blast!! The only down part was that I (John) smashed my leg on the van bumper and bruised the bone pretty bad. But I definitely want to go again!!

Rubik's Cube

This is Reed. Hyrum and I combined money to buy a 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube. I already taught him how to solve a 3x3x3, so that was fun as well. I will post videos to teach you how also. Just stay tuned and they will be here shortly! I might even show you how to solve one of these beasts once I get more used to it.

March Madness Updated

Well, BYU lost to Florida after making it to the sweet 16, but it was a great season. The team that we were going for from that point lost tonight as well, but they were an 11 seed and they made it all the way to the final four. They took out the number 1 seed Kansas and not a single 1 seed made it to the final four. Can you guess who that team is?

It's VCU. Otherwise known as Virginia Commonwealth University. They also had a great season, and we were really sad to see that they lost. Well, I guess now we have a long wait until.........

The next football season!
